Students participating in Engineering Explorations Winter Edition will be exposed to various disciplines of engineering in a fun and exciting environment! They also keep ALL projects they fabricate! The Winter Edition is an efficient enrichment program designed for students to be "Minds On while doing Hands On" activities. These include designing your own robot maze in a box and Ping Pong Launchers in the Simple STEM course and constructing your own Pinball Machine and RC Truck in the Engineering Concepts course. In the 3D Printing and Graphic Design course students will design and print their own keychains and compete vinyl design projects for mugs and shirts. Build your own mini-drone and learn to solder in the Drones and Electronics course. Each day during their “technology recess” students will get to fly quad-copter drones, drive RC cars, play vintage video games, play laser tag and experience virtual reality. We strive to build not only your child’s academic skills but their leadership skills as well through cooperative learning in a supportive environment.
